It was a great day. It was nice out and the training yards were beckoning him. He sighed ready for a nice workout. It wasn't every day he got the chance to be outside like this. He knew he should take advantage where he could. He also didn't want to get out of shape. He tried to make room in his busy schedule at home, but sometimes he just didn't get out enough. He was beginning to agree with his family about how busy he kept himself.
Well not here. Today I'm going to have some fun. Perhaps even let the ladies see what they are mising out on. He thought as he warmed up. Once he was ready he went looking for a fight. It was easy to find as there were eager lads trying to prove themselves. They looked disappointing to fight, but he knew that looks could be deceiving. He hoped so.
About an hour later he found disappointment at every turn with those boys. He was tired of them and was ready for a challenge. He heard the pleading of one more and figured he'd give the boy a go. Nothing harmed if this one wasn't up to snuff like the rest. He was ready for the first move and parried it easy enough. He wanted to roll his eyes. This one had a gap between his stance enough to be knocked down.
"Hey you might want to..." he started to say and then caught a vision. He wondered if perhaps it wasn't a dream. Suddenly he felt a smack on his head lucky he was wearing armor and was sent to the ground for it. He cursed and kicked at the gap in the legs sending the lad to the ground too.
"As I was saying you might want to fix that," he said shaking his head. He sighed and was about to get up. It was time to call it a day from the training ground.
