Lily had decided it was time to explore the garden, finding familiarity there. She knew their garden put this one to shame but didn't want to see it this way because every garden was different to her. If the fact she was wearing a dress was any indicator that she wasn't at home right now, she wasn't sure what would. It was beautiful and peaceful in the garden, which lead to her sitting on a bench in the garden. The sun allowed it to be warm but not intruding with heat. She smiled slightly as a butterfly flew by, the life in the garden very lively. She had thought herself alone at this moment, relaxing completely in the garden. Social situations weren't her strong point and she knew she could be a little awkward. There was something to be said about that though. She knew what was proper but preferred flowers to people. She didn't mean to be this way, it just happened.
There had been much negativity going around lately and there was certainly the question of whether or not a war was looming around the corner. If anything could take Lily's mind off of that it was a field of daisy flowers or even daffodils. She had realized her lack of being alone when she sensed someone nearby, sitting up straight and immediately following where she felt this person was. She could tell when she was being watched and seemed like a startled deer, especially upon discovering it was one of the royals. She could tell by the way he dressed but if someone were to ask who he was, she would be unable to provide a name. Lily stood and gave a curtsy. "Lord Deveraux." She greeted.
Bayard Deveraux
