Olivier wasn't sure what exactly he meant by "not random," though at the very least he knew he meant it when he said she was unique and special to him. Whether or not this was going somewhere... he couldn't say. His family would have to be on board for him officially courting her, and that was a process to say the least. Well, he assumed it was, he hadn't exactly waded into the realm of lady courting with his family before.
"I don't know where this is going, to be honest," Olivier said. "But I know I'd like to get to know you better. If you'd like to, of course." He wasn't sure where Rosella was on the whole "attraction" or "interest" front, and of course his family wouldn't really be an issue at all if she wasn't interested in pursuing... whatever it was they had together. Olivier was fairly sure she wouldn't just pretend to be interested because he was a prince. She wasn't the type to do that. Of course, Olivier's read of her could be wrong, but he felt fairly certain about that one aspect of her character. There might be other things he wasn't sure about, but of that he felt positive.
"And as far as unique goes... Well, you're spunky. You say what you think. You've always got a comeback, and you can take care of yourself. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're very unique." Of course Olivier thought she was physically attractive, but it was the way she carried herself that he found the most intriguing. The prince felt it hard to look at her through his embarrassment as he added, "I mean, you're the first girl I've ever liked before, and I don't know what to do next really, but I really would like to get to know you better." He was repeating himself now. Great. He probably looked like an idiot. Man, he was not good at this.
