Olympe laughed and nodded to him when he asked that she tell him if she was ever unhappy. "Of course. I'll even send a pigeon to you wherever you may go after your time here!" She stated, a little snarky but she did mean it in a sense. She would let him know, even if it meant sending a letter or a smoke signal somehow. She smiled brightly ever still when he said he wanted to be able to fix anything that might be making her sad if he could. "That really is sweet you know. I hope that if ever anything makes me sad you can fix it for me!"
When he agreed to the ride, she couldn't have felt more happy. She wanted to feel the wind in her hair and forget about court (though she did that more often than not anyway). He mentioned that his horse was in the stable, and didn't know how much of an advanced warning he needed before procuring the beast but that Olympe probably could bark an order and get the horse no trouble. She nodded. "That is definitely a plus of being a Deveraux. Barking orders." She replied, chuckling and thinking back on it. She had had to bark orders quite a number of times, which seemed out of place for Olympe, but mostly they had been keeping silent about pranks and mischief. And for some reason, every servant that had found her out had kept their mouths shut. Were they afraid of her? Probably not. It was probably more about liking her too much. At any rate, she could do it and people listened. "Well let's head there then. I may enjoy my monkey business but I'm a bit nervous being out too long after dark!" And there was such a sincerity and an honesty in her voice, she really did fear being out too late on the trails. Though bandits were uncommon, she still didn't want to risk any of it. As fast as Arvak and Alsvid were, there was always someone faster than her.
"You don't feel free?" She asked, shuffling her feet some to change her gait as they made their way onwards to the stable, but first heading out of the gardens. "How tied down are you? Land and a pushy wife?" She asked, teasing merrily.
