"Argi wait!" The girl called out as she gathered up the skirts of her flowing pale teal gown while running after her cousin, or rather his spirit. How quickly she had forgotten the reality of where she was, a world where those around her did not believe in spirits, nor did she notice the glances that came her way as she ran. How odd it must have looked to see a sixteen year old chasing after seemingly nothing as she ran to the shores of the lake.
"Hurry up Soa! You've never been so slow!"
The girl laughed before finally stopping just before the edge of the lake as her feet started to sink in the coarse sand. A grin tugged on the girls lips as she quickly went to kick off her slippers to leave them in the dirt. The girl hated the feeling of shoes, stockings, or anything that restricted the movement of her feet. Another giggle escaped her lungs as she let her toes wiggle in the sand as her blue eyes gazed up at the spirit ahead of her, "I'm not slow!" She watched a the spirit of the teenage boy danced over the surface of the water causing a wave of ripples along the surface.
"Come on! I want to know how cold the water is!"
Soa's eyes sparkled at the thought of getting in the water, and exploring a new part of the lake that wasn't near the Naia townhouse. Lifting up her skirts more the girl ran into the lake kicking up water towards the spirit playfully. The cold water made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up although she made no attempt to seek out the warmth of the shore. "It's like ice water, but it feels wonderful!" The heat of the lingering summer in the south had been getting to Soa since she was after all used to the temperate climate of the Nyster Isle. Wading in the water was a way for the teenager to escape the fact she was in the capital although it would have perhaps done her better to remember...
