Fio was glad they weren't holding the princess up. She stayed in the background watching and listening as these two conversed. She was glad that Vyn was getting out of her shell a little bit. She had noticed the body language and wouldn't ask what was wrong. That would come later when they were alone.
"Thank you. If you ladies will excuse me for a moment I want to make sure to get enough of this fabric," she said wondering what ideas for a dress would come. She went up to the man selling the fabrics and told him she wanted a dress fitted. She held up the material then saw his face drop. The man said it was a flawed fabric that shouldn't have been out for sale. It took some convincing that man to show him how much she liked it. He eventually agreed and said he would have some sketches for her in a few minutes. She handed over the fabric and nodded before returning to the other ladies.
"Muddle about? You are good at your drawing don't sell yourself short," she said not even bothering with the comment about the charcol everywhere. She found that bit amusing though she didn't express it. She knew her niece didn't find it amusing.
"You are staying?" Fio said not sure she had heard right. She sighed wishing she kept up the latest news on her family. She thought maybe she needed to speak to someone who might know all the latest news wondering just which of the kitchen staff she would bully into telling her this time.
