It was true that one of Inayla's biggest problems was that her heart was some times too large, but when she saw the people she cared about hurting she couldn't find it in herself not to do something about it. Inayla was sure that Sabriyah knew that Inayla would do anything goes to smooth things over between her and her Father. Even if the Caliph did not see it, Inayla would do what was best for thier family. She was used to putting others needs before her own wants. She understood that that was the life she chose for herself and did not complain when it granted her more headaches than satisfaction.
Inayla was most appreciative when Sabriyah agreed to hear her out. It was good to know that Sabriyah, even in her own hurt and anger, would still listen to reason.
She in turn allowed her friend to make voice of her pain. She would never shun Sabriyah for having emotions, or treat her differently for the need to express those feelings. She understood her friends hurt and anger. She sympathized with her, she was right to feel the way she did. She would have been fully with in her rights to have turned Inayla away for the sudden acceptance that she'd given at Qasim's proposal. She commended her friend for being level headed enough to see that Inayla had been in shock and was not thinking clearly. She would not call this a mistake though. She would continue on this path. There was no going back now. " Good, all the more reason for me to give your detail additional guards. Even if they only be few and for part of the journey." She placed a hand on her friend's. "I understand your hurt and anger. If this is how you truly feel in your heart, then I will do my best to do what I must to ensure you aquire the healing your soul is in need of."
