With Ruadhan and Siobhan gone, the busy little Connell bee felt somewhat adrift. Liam had his own business and the clan's to tend to, and Nora was busy with Lord Cadag, leaving Regan to her own devices. She was not ashamed to admit she was a little homesick, thinking of her precious bees and what she made with their honey; when in Glenn Tuathas, she was far too busy ever to be bored but here, she did what she could. Clearly, she needed to find something to do!
Regan wasn't sure what, but she wouldn't find if she didn't look. Today, she opted to go walk the grounds of the palace, curious to explore the place. Despite her bright hair, she was a relatively small girl, harmless really, and one who could be overlooked readily enough for her typically plain manner of dressing. This afternoon proved no different as she roamed the grounds, stopping to watch some of the Clavigers at practice with a quiet smile of pleasure for their skill with swords and other weapons. She could see Siobhan here with them...
Shaking her head before she let herself get lost in the brooding, Regan slipped away to wander down another path without seeming purpose to where her feet led. As she walked, her steps making little noise on the packed dirt, she paused as she thought she heard a voice. A man's voice, clearly, one that seemed to be... reciting verse? Intrigued, the little honey-bee buzzed a little closer, reluctant to intrude but curious to verify what she thought she heard.
Carefully peeking through the foliage, she saw a tall form - a man, obviously - who appeared to be moving around akin to pacing. Ruadhan often did the same, claiming it helped him to think, so likely this man was doing the same, but what was with the verse? Listening, Regan stayed quiet and still, waiting for more.
