So far the Prince was taking quickly to his new tasks, her commands, and even his new named that he loathed. The girl still hadn’t decided how long she was going to treat him like this, or even how far she was going to take the whole servant thing. Who knew if she even could? If his family heard about this she could be in really big trouble, but then she could explain everything to them? And how often did a noble lady get to force a Prince to be her servant? Her own thoughts were interrupted by Lucy’s questioning over her knowledge of his skill. The girl coughed holding her head up high, “What, do you have a reputation for poor shoulder rubs?” Gwyn smirked shaking her head, “No, I have not been asking around about you Lucy. If you were good at rubbing ladies shoulders you wouldn’t be hiding in a garden hoping to trip some other man into a pond.” The girl grinned wildly at her jest before going to walk with him.
He was being quieter than before which was a little odd, but then again he was playing the role of servant so it made sense. The stillness was a tad bit awkward though as the two of them walked and were it not for the fact Gwyn was paranoid someone would see her she would have started singing. Instead she decided to quietly hum while looking over the list for the next things she needed for Annemarie. “It looks like all we need are mint leaves and a sunflower.” The girl stated before her eyes looked ahead wondering where she had seen both of the plants before. When he brought them back to her the girl carefully inspected each of the flowers for any imperfections. As she found herself pleased with each one Gwynevere went to place the poppies into her basket with an approving nod. “Those will do. Now-“ The girl paused seeing him putting the basket down on the ground, “Um, Lucy I-“ Without warning Gwynevere found herself pressed up against the tree and his body very close to hers. She grabbed the base of the tree trunk trying to keep herself balanced as she realized there were footsteps. This was a terrible hiding spot! Gwyn was about to tell the Prince that she was going to run for it, but when she opened her mouth his lips met her own. The girl had been utterly unprepared for such an action as she just stood there unsure what else to do.Panic washed over the teenager as her mind began to flood with so many thoughts and questions. What was she suppose to do? What if he thought she enjoyed it? Or that she had kissed him back? Had she been kissing him back? The girl’s cheeks suddenly started to flush with a mixture of embarrassment and rage. The flood of emotions and confused overwhelmed the girl so much so that when they broke the kiss she was still standing in the same spot. She didn't dare more the entire time suddenly finding herself scared by the thought he might think she had been enjoying herself. Or, worse that the spectator had seen who she was!
As she tried to recover from the simple, yet not so simple first kiss, the girl blinked again somewhat speechless as she was unsure if she had enjoyed it, or not. Her eyes glanced up at the Prince expecting at least some form of instant apology and explanation, but she didn't get one? In fact he was asking like nothing happened as he picked up her basket! Her blue eyes turned to ice as she stared daggers into the man now even more offended by the action as he spoke. Ignoring his word Gwynevere waited until he looked at her when her hand flew out striking his face with a had slap. "How dare you! You never kiss a lady without permission!" Not waiting to give him a chance to recover or apologize the girl promptly turned on her foot, "Bring Lady Annemarie the basket, and then..." She was too angry to think straight over what she wanted him to do, "I do not have patience for a cad today! So go hide yourself out of my sight!" Gwynevere just needed to leave and get away from him as she put her mind back together from the whole mess of the day.
