Gwyn had been worried sick ever since their arrival at Lockewood although she did her best to appear calm. Her brother had been among those separated from the group protecting the princesses. When Tristan returned certainly he would be honored for such bravery, but it still anything could happen out there. Her little experience with bandits had taught the teenager that much that she needn't assume one would always be safe. And, even when Gwynevere had asked about the details of what had happened no one gave her a direct answer. Thankfully her brother had returned that morning, and while she was given a mere moment to fret over his well-being the man was quickly taken away from her for briefings, and hopefully to be looked after. What story she had received from her brother was full of the fluff. While she deeply admired Tristan for his courage she had grown up some since they'd last seen each, and had a firmer grasp on the reality of being attacked. She assumed no one told her the truth simply because they figured there was little she could do with the truth other than fret over it, but the girls mind worked in other ways. Rather than getting huffy the lady remained dignified throughout the day going on the events as their hosts had planned and even offering Annemarie assistance when she could. All the while the inner workings of her mind formulated a plan of how to find the answer she had been seeking.
Changing out of the dress she wore to the picnic the girl put on one of her deep navy blue gowns with golden accents and trim. During the day she had been playing the role of more of a carefree girl, and now she knew order to be taken seriously she would slip into the role of a Lady. Pinning the sides of her hair back the rest of her dark hair flowed down her back while a few wisps framed her face. The subtle make up she had applied on her face was merely a reminder to her brother that she was indeed becoming grown up or at least that was the theory of wearing it that evening.
When supper had ended Gwynevere separated excused herself from those socializing in the halls heading outsides. Perhaps her cousin, and immediate family would think she was taking a stroll in the garden with the casual pace she was walking. The complete opposite was true though as the girl was in fact on a mission to find her brother to get answers for what had happened. The training grounds seemed to be the most opportune place to find a Knight even though it was mid evening. Looking for him in the guest quarters marked for Knights simply wouldn't be proper, and the girl would then have to seek out a page. As she approached the grounds the girl did happen to see a figure standing there in the moonlight leaning against the railing of the training circle. Gwyn quickened her pace a little thinking she may have been in luck that it was her brother afterall, but when she got closer the girl quickly realized it wasn't Tristan instead it was one of his superiors. Sir Salvatore was well known in the kingdom for his skill with a blade, and his position within the order. Simply ignoring the man would not only be rude, but foolish as well. But, perhaps he could provide better answers than Tristan could? As she approached the young lady paused going to curtsy in greeting to the knight, "Sir Salvatore, please forgive me for interrupting your evening..." She paused going to stand, "But, may I ask for your assistance?"
