The day was young, perhaps a bit too young. Having broke her fast early, she had spent the morning reading up on the various families that made up the local landholders. Records that she had been able to attain were scarce, and the families were not easily handing over their information. Lineage was very important to many as it ascertained who gained power, and who went without. Her ability to tactically think needed information and so she would likely need to eventually speak to her brother about larger requests. The priests of the Triune might have records intheir temples, and as she slowly rose from her reading she made a mental note to think on that.
Honestly, it was just a mess. The meeting with the Deliambre family had gone well, more than well. Things had moved in a way she had wished they would. There was still a fact hanging in the back of her mind of other problems that lay just beyond her peripheral vision. What other threats could harm Seravino, or even Archades itself. her family ruled in the mountains and she found herself thinking at length of what could be sitting on the horizon. There were others she had not even thought about.
The people in Vulcanis, and the people in Rohari and Desmira. Regions she had not even begun to study as furiously as she should. Her lack of ovrsight in those areas was leaving the young scholar bewildered, and anyone. I need a break. The conclusion came to Elisabeta that she needed a break. Thus she swept out of the room after finding a dress for herself, and with her guards in tow. Time for her to a break. It took her a little bit to make her way out ofthe inn,but finally she was free. A sense of complete, and utter freedom from the compression that bad been building around her since the meeting.
"What shall I do," she said to herself as she scanned the road in front of the inn as her eyes wandered sluggishly.
