She laughed lightly. "I'm afraid I've been guilty of sketching all day once or twice but only when the scene is just too perfect, too beautiful to not want to savor its beauty for always."
"That couldn't have been very easy or pleasant for you but your father had a good point and valuable lesson to teach. He sounds like a very wise man."
Her piercing blue eyes remained on his face as they spoke. Her horse knew to follow Dederik's and also which way home was so Christina didn't have to keep her focus on the horse, especially at a sedate pace such as the one they kept to.
"You have a sister, do you have other siblings besides her and the brother you mentioned? I have eight siblings in total myself and they can be quite the bunch when they're all together." She smiled.
”How painful is your arm, my lady?"
Of course, once it was mentioned is when she began to notice the throbbing of her limb. She hadn't been paying attention to it so it would seem. Undoubtedly because she found their conversation too enjoyable. She gave a wan smile before she answered. "It's beginning to throb but we aren't too much further from home. I think I shall be able to endure it."
She laughed softly as he spoke of being a man of action. "Action is a very good thing, but that doesn't tell which sports you prefer. What if I wished to come watch you play? How would I know where to look?"She blushed. She hadn't meant to say that last part out loud. She really hadn't. This time her blush was a deep rose and went down past the collar of her riding outfit.
”If nothing else perhaps I am taking your mind of your pain.”
"Indeed you have and too well it would seem since I only just noticed how my arm felt. I daresay you could charm honey from the bees if put your mind to it." She said. Was she flirting? May-be.
