"Indeed..." Therese stated with a nod in agreement with the Lord Marshals assessment of the fight. Both men fought well displaying each others strengths in a stunning display. Other than that the woman did not feel the need to say much more on the matter saw the young squire return.
Therese arched a brow quickly noting that the boy had yet to offer the second flagon to herself, but restrained from pointing it out directly. The boy was clearly nervous being around the Lord Marshal for perhaps the first time which was understandable in her estimation. Secondly, he was a Fontaine which from her experience lacked foresight, and for some manners. Still, a potential for her army needed to be watched as if the woman felt the inclination to recruit the young man she could polish his flaws through flame.
Listening to the boy answer the Lord Marshal's question regarding Sir Edmund the woman glanced over at the man to give some further explanation, "Sir Edmund is a hedge knight who has sworn loyalty to Estersea, but more recently to House Fontaine. He is excellent with a great and long sword and is a very experienced warrior." In truth the man was close to the age of retirement but from her understanding utterly refused to do so. For now Therese saw little reason to force a man with that amount of skill into retirement herself as she had even worked with him in the past. However there was only so much the Lord Marshal needed to truthfully know about her own connections. Another brow rose at this Simons statement of Sir Eglimoor being ill suited to the task as she supposed it was one way of telling the truth. A dead man often times made a poor teacher.
A hand extended out for the second glass still not offered to her assuming the boy would gather his wits about him with out having to be reminded verbally. "Dame or Marshal are both suitable titles for myself." Having to remind people of the proper way to address her was something that Therese had come across quite often. There was no hint of annoyance, sarcasm, or little emotion other than her usual stoic self from her voice as the woman spoke.
