Isobel couldn't help hold it in anymore. She wanted to go explore the city, she wanted to go see all the shops. Maybe she could even purchase herself something, a token reminder of her time here, or even better would be a dress or some jewel similar to those that the ladies at court often wore. She wanted to be just like them, despite the fact that she knew that eventually her family would be returning home. She didn't dislike home, but for Isobel being here was a bit of a dream come true. She liked the grand-ness of the events here, the possibilities. She loved just how "big" everything was. While she wouldn't mind having her prince charming back at home, she also wanted to explore the world, and to her, this place signified just that.
Considering going off on her own, many things held her back, the least of which was the possibility of someone who knew her recognizing her. She would take a house servant with her, of course, but it would be much better with company. Isobel had almost given up hope of finding anyone she could bug until a familiar face passed by.
"Ian! Cousin," she said, her voice giddy as she quickly got up off her seat and crossed the room towards him. She pulled him into a small hug before recomposing herself. "Have you had your breakfast of yet?" She wondered, trying for innocence in her tone, but more than likely failing given she was too excited.
Isobel hoped he would accept to go with her. Her brothers and sisters as well as parents had either fled or not woken yet. And then, even if she knew Ian was closer to her sister than of herself... well maybe she could put in this extra effort to spend time with him to change his mind on that.
