"Lavigne itself is unique, my lady, but I have to admit, and seeing the sand dunes covered with spring primroses at sunrise is truly beautiful. There is hardly anything I've seen to equal it."
”You speak of your home most eloquently, it makes it all the more fanciful to me, Lady Clara. Are you a poet, perhaps, or do you hobby yourself with words for you are notably good with them.”
"I would very much enjoy that, Lady Leona, if I will not be intruding?"
”Not at all- I do not feel that it is intrusion. I have invited you, after all.” She smiled, a beautiful smile and reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. Leona was a gem, a trophy, a woman of dainty and slender beauty. She was sought after, and her husband paid a high price for her and her a high price for his jealousy. It was rare that Leona went anywhere without enchanting those around her with her beauty, like a siren from a mythical story, she had a sultry seduction about her nature that enticed men and women alike.
Both of them made glance and Leona nodded when the younger raven haired girl made mention fo a name; "That is Lady Isobel Cameron, daughter of the Count of Marlowe. Shall I introduce you, Lady Leona, while we wait for Lady Trista to return?"
”I would like that, then perhaps the four of us could select some seats amongst the others- seen as you seem so comfortable with all of this Lady Clara, would it be prudent of me to suggest I follow your lead?” It was a fake blush that lined her cheeks as she spoke with such softness and boldness all in that moment. Leona had no interest in playing the games of court- she had enough to worry about in her home life- but she was, by no means, naive to parties and gatherings and the expectation of those around her.
