”So, what’s this I hear that you have problems with Lady Allegra? Hmm?”
That comment felt like it came out of nowhere and he looked at her with a moments surprise in his gaze. ”Correction, dear sister, she has a problem with me.”
The truth of the matter was a difficult thing to come about. He had met with the lady on the same fateful day that Dederik had been refused her hand in marriage. This was something, for the moment that Ra had been glad about. Yes, of course it had put him to work in order to smooth over his brothers idiocy, but after meeting with the Lady he wanted her to have no part in his family. He felt, her childish and brattish will would likely be a poison to his somewhat gentle natured kin. The meeting had been successful but not in a way one might expect; after all, Allegra had been tested by Ra and she had failed. She had not seen passed her own personal goal or anger to really understand the depth of his words and the fact that he was not challenging her passed anything respectable and expected of a man concerned for the wealth fare of his house. Instead of seeing Ra as a messenger or a servant to Dederik (which he was), she took personal problem with an interference she felt he was making and was so concerned that he stood too close to her that she did not manage to answer one question goodly.
This would obviously sound like an odd success, but truthfully he had learn more about her in her anger than he would have if she had been meek and polite.
He said no more, of course, wanting to know what his sister was already privy too.
