Deina was trying not to be obvious about slowing down but she was not so convinced that he was okay. Dederik had taken a blow to his head and that could mean he didn't always show the effects of it right away. She did not want him to grow too dizzy and take a fall, or make the head-ache worse. Besides, it was a pretty day and taking her time was just right.
She was glad to be able to help him more then just with his head, nodding. "Of course it is quite safe. I go with my brother Matthew some times, or with my cousin Tamara. There are plenty of other nobles who attend the horse-auctions. I've even seen the Royal Horsemaster there some times." If that man was there, surely that meant it was not only safe, but that there were good quality horses available. The Fontaines sold some of their horses at that market too, so Deina pointed it out. "My family raises horses, and we have them brought down to the auction for sale. It's also where breeding agreements are made too."
Blushing a little, Deina was not so sure being social was that great a skill, but it was helpful to Tamara, so she would use it as best she knew how. "I did not think about it like that, but I do want to help my cousin." Helping Tamara also helped her brother and sister, even if their uncle had all the wrong ideas. She did not want to get into an argument with Joseph, but it was probably coming soon.
He had a way with words that made her blush again. "You are very kind to say so, but I think I understand your meaning. The impact is lost if you just hear a description instead of seeing for yourself." Deina knew what it was like to stand on the shore of the in-land sea, but it had to be different on the ocean side. "Visiting would be up to Tamara, but I know she is hoping that I will be accepted as a lady-in-waiting soon. Thank you for thinking of it, Lord Dederik."
