Alexander had attempted to protest when he learned his action only led to his death, but no sooner did his lips part did a club deliver a gut wrenching blow him causing him to instantly kneel over and vomit out white muck from the millet he'd been fed this morning. Before he could recover he was being dragged away trying to take in the air he'd lost as he was taken out of the greathall he took in a sharp breath, finally catching his air. With no desire to die he fought against the guards as clubs laid blow after blow until darkness eventually overcame him and he was dragged to the dungeons to await death.

The three men when caught earlier that day said nothing of what they did, their armor and belongings were stripped and they bore the cuts, and bruises of capture. Each of them held the expressions of contempt from both being captured and ridiculousness of this court. They expected no less as they were brought before Vortigern and sentenced to death in the same breath without a moment of consideration. As they were ushered away they muttered curses to the man that sat in the High Laird's seat.

The man who approached next was dressed in black leather, a heavy approach worn about his body bearing the mark of the smithing guild, he was a grizzled man and by the looks of it, one who was well practiced in his trade. As he approached he stood before the high table and looked to Vortigern, a serious expression upon his features. "Laird Cruach many month ago I came before this ... high table demanding justice from the Laird. A man stole from me.. and by order of the Laird then he was forced to work under my employ. Laird Cruach this man is lazy... loses me more coin than I gain from his work and had justice been done the day he was reported all would be right."
The man shook his head, "But now? I am at a loss for the theft.. and more loss for the piss poor and shoddy work he does... I demanded justice then and my pleas were unheard.. and I demand it now that I might be made right by true justice." The man stood tall and looked to Vortigern awaiting reply.
