Kenna was left flabbergasted about Adair believing she thought her siblings were slow. She did not. They just left her behind. Minus Callum. But they were at least close to age with each other, and she felt left behind in being on the bottom of the spectrum with at least four years between her and Adair, while he had at least Isobel close in age to find the similar interests and she was just the baby of the main family to find her place in the world. While she loved her cousins greatly and some were the same age, she felt like she was left out on certain aspects because she didn’t have that closeness in age to delve into.
“Why would you even consider that?” She didn’t explain what she was speaking about, whether it referred to her siblings being weird to her or the fact that she was acting childish. But it hurt to hear that, she was already uncomfortable being here and not really feel like she was fitting in. Adair just seemed to have made her feelings about this place even worse. Even with the aspect of heading out away from the manor. Adair sure had a way of making her shut up and feeling like crap.
"Are you saying I don’t have any patience? Have you been hanging out with Callum again?” Kenna scoffed at the idea that she didn’t have patience. She had some, but not a lot. Most of it was reserved for the drawings and the various paintings so she wouldn’t throw them at the wall when she thought them to have an end point of being a disaster. Kenna crossed her arms as she left Adair lead them to their next destination and the wonders what he had planned for the two of them.
