He chuckled. Sure she did her homework on him. Why wouldn't she have? She had needed to know what she was getting into to some degree. He wondered just who she had talked to. He didn't ask though. Sometimes it was better not to know. He figured that wasn't really important just then any ways.
"Yes it is something I would like to change," he said knowing that business done directly was better that way. At least that's what he thought. Sometimes it was more valuable that way in his mind. He had found that deals could be arranged and they saved money. He loved it when they saved money. He wasn't sure it would be that easy here, but he could try.
"I look forward to seeing them, and yes I will know where to find you," he said figuring he could ask if he couldn't find her readily. He figured it wouldn't be too hard to find her though. It sounded like markets if she wasn't home. He had already figured on that.
"I would like to see that, yes. Mornings okay I can do that. Cassie? Sure I'm sure she would love to see the stall too," he said having a feeling that wasn't it with Cassie and this lady. He had a feeling that she just wanted to meet the woman her brother was probably in love with. He couldn't blame her for that. If the roles were reversed he would want to meet the person his family was falling for as well. He was lucky he had already done that.
"You are preaching to the choir. Father sent me to a ship when I was old enough. He wanted me to learn the trade from the bottom up," he said remembering the manual labor that came with it too. He wondered if that had been wise. He didn't agree with much his father did, but that might have been the one thing he had gotten right.
"Oh give it time I'm sure if all goes well you will see them together," he said knowing they had to make things right. He wasn't sure what he would do with Cassie if she couldn't be with Ian. It was not something he was prepared for. He would fight this as long as he had to to make sure she was happy. He wanted her as happy as possible.
