The Deschenes lady was now thinking that perhaps wandering the market streets with out a veteran of the city well was a poor idea. Her and Kael's birthday was coming up in about a week, and the girl needed to purchase a gift for him. Gwynevere had been puzzled on what exactly to buy for her dear brother so she decided to venture down to the markets with her maid in tow. Surely a vendor or shop there would have something that would suit her twin? Wandering through the market streets Gwyn stopped at stall after stall looking over the various items that each merchant was selling. Her goal was to see everything she possibly could before making a decision and if need be she would return to make the purchase the next day.
Hours passed as the girls wandered the city streets and Gwynevere attempted to stay focused on the task at hand. Ultimately, with how new, large, and exciting the markets were the young lady had gotten distracted by all the sights. The trip turned from a shopping venture to more one of exploration before the lady suddenly came to the realization that she had no idea where they now where. The city itself seemed transformed into a place full of vibrant life to one more shadowy even in the daylight. The young lady had never truly seen the poorer parts of a city where those of distasteful nature lingered about. Certainly she would be protected in the capital with the royal guards and knights about?
"I believe we may have taken a wrong turn or two..." Gwynevere stated in her faked jovial tone clearly pretending to be unaware of what a potentially dangerous situation the two ladies were in. It was oblivious from their attire neither of them belonged in this section of the city. Lady Gwyn stuck out in her bright, cheerful yellow dress, white parasol, and white flowers Ana had placed in her hair that morning.
