The Deschenes' house was--well, thrown into chaos would not be an exaggerated way of describing it. Servants bustled about, members of the family called across the hall for lady's maids, butlers, other family members, and in the midst of it all Analisse strode with a determined and efficient stride. She could never decide if she liked or disliked parties and other occasions that evoked this amount of madness in the house. The beautiful dresses and opportunities to show her skill as a lady's maid was very nice, of course, but the clamoring and running about hardly seemed worth it when she could not even witness the event with her own eyes. Of course, Analisse had never once wished to go to a ball or party of any sort. That would be selfish and vain of her, not to mention she did not deserve to be dressed up and admired by anyone. She was dirt, unclean, unfit to be seen or heard from outside the walls of her family's home. She did not mind the ignominy, though. As long as Analisse had her family at her side, she was content.
As lady's maids were in high order, and as Analisse had finished preparing Lady Gwynevere in a short amount of time, thanks to her care to do most of the work before the coronation, Analisse was summoned to help with Lady Eimilie's preparations for the party later that day. Analisse knocked on the lady's door and entered with her head bowed and her hands folded before her politely.
With a curtsey, Analisse said, "I am here to help you with your hair, Lady Eimilie." Out of all the Deschenes' maids, Analisse was certainly the fastest when it came to styling hair. Gwynevere had also taught her diligence and attention to detail, since her charge could be rather particular about the way she liked things done. Dealing with Lady Emilie would likely be easier, though Analisse would not take less care with her work just because of the lady's easygoing nature.
Approaching Lady Eimilie, Analisse claimed the hair brush from Eimilie's maid, who then began sorting out the pieces of jewelry that Eimilie would wear. Running her hands through Eimilie's long hair, Analisse smiled at her in the vanity mirror and said, "How would you like it styled, Lady Eimilie?"
