Itsaso had made a long trip to these foreign lands, a place she hadn't spent much time within before, and certainly not recently. In fact, she'd quite avoided the area, for some ungrounded fear she would never return to Ethersea. Silly, though it was, it had prohibited her from much leaving the Isle she grew upon. That, and the gal just loved her home land. It was beautiful, the lands were tended with care, there was plenty of water as was part of their namesake. She had come to see the new crown princess, and even Itsaso had to admit to understanding the importance of such an affair. She wasn't terribly involved with the proceedings, but to see a female leader take charge was interesting of what she knew of how these politics usually happened.
Afterwards, however, she had wondered upon her return home. She knew with the planned festivities she aught to remain a time yet, and to enjoy herself! A coronation was not a one-a-year event, she couldn't simply bow out this time and come the next. Plus, she wanted to expand her business, which meant she had to be brave and attempt to socialize the idea. She just had to stick her neck out there as she had grown comfortable doing back home. But all those good ideas did not mean she did not yearn for the flow of the rivers around her, the faces of familiar people, and also, to feel like she was not at the bottom of the totem pole as she did here.
Itsaso managed to make her way to an area she thought would be fitting to her, although perhaps in a way strange. She'd managed to collect herself the materials she would need to fish, and changed herself into an outfit to match the activity. It wasn't as lovely a dress to match those other many ladies around the capital, but then those ladies had probably never held a fish - or so she figured. Itsaso stared at the beautiful lake, and a section of which she'd chosen for its solitude. No one but her, some fishing equipment, and the water itself. She couldn't tell if the location was good for catching, but that hadn't been the point. Here she wasn't fishing for her livelihood but more for sport.
As she put her things together, she hummed. She'd of course talked with those she'd come with so that they would know where she'd gone, but hadn't been very forthcoming about being alone or fishing rather than lounging. But to her, it was worthwhile. She blew out a sigh, letting go of her stress, and enjoying the view and activity.
