Isobel had veritably clapped her hands together when her father had first come into their home-away-from-home and asked if his eldest daughter wouldn't mind accompanying him for lunch outdoors. A picnic, in fact. Not that she would deny her father anything, but she was most pleased to say yes to this, and it positively made her day. She'd immediately set to the task of changing into a light outerwear dress, and also requested for some fresh fruits to be added to their basket if it wasn't already the case. After doing her hair - something she thought was a must right now considering their broader location - she presented herself to be ready to dine.
Eventually they'd made their way and were set up on a lengthy blanket which covered the grass blades and afforded them a clean place to set their plates, cutlery, food and drink. Then she heaved a deep sigh of relaxation, with a lengthy glance around themselves for the view before looking back to her father.
"I'm surprised and very happy to have you all to myself," she started with a bit of a mischievous but obviously pleased smile and done. "The Lords have given you a moment's rest?" She tried to veil her concern, turning the conversation almost more into a jest, but honestly she wanted what was best for her father, and she doubted that his being away from his family, his people and land, for extended periods of time bode well. Isobel could admit to still being afraid of a coup to happen as it had way back before even her birth, though she tried to have confidence that it wouldn't. Generally, she was enjoying the location and opportunity, and while she thought she herself was not in any threat, Isobel always had a small worry in the case of her father.
