The past month had been full of both emotional ups and down for Maricela Sandoval. Certainly she had made a few acquaintances of considerable interest, but on the other hand there were other issues that plagued the artistic mind. The recent move that one of her brother's had made put her own future in an amount of considerable risk, but while her opinion had been voice there was no guarantee hers would be the route they would take. She had trust in her siblings, but at the same point it was becoming grating on how much the princess was put on the sidelines when decisions were being made. Yet, as a middle daughter that was her place in the family line wasn't it? She was a pretty little socialite who was only suppose to dabble in the political scheme of things unless more responsibility was given to her. And then there of course was the fact there had been so far no resolution on the attacks made against her own family, or by whom they were conducted. It was why Maricela choose to not only travel with her maid, but with two of her brothers guards on her person.
Thus, having no real agenda for the day other than to soothe her own displeasure the lady ventured out of the Sandoval townhouse for her daily visit to the markets. Shopping not so much buying was another form of therapy for the young noble woman. Keeping an eye on the market wares, knowing what merchants were selling, and knowing what the nobility was buy were all useful tidbits of information for the designer. While her vision was absolute the Sandoval lady also wanted some awareness of what currently enthralled the court so she could expand on it. Of course Maricela could do anything a Deveraux princess did, but also do it on a much grander scheme. Even while shopping her indigo dress with delicate sleeves that only cupped her shoulders. Golden brocade accented the bodice of the garment and then weaved it's way into the skirt of the dress before fading away. Her dark locks of hair fell down the lady's back as a golden headband pulled the rest of her curls out of her face.
This time however the Princess was not looking at dresses, or cloth, but instead looking over at various colors of paints available for purchase along with canvas'. She had used up much of her own supplies already during the journey to the capital, but in the capital there since her art was one way of purging emotion. What to do with all of those paintings truthfully the Sandoval lady hadn't fully decided yet while she could throw an art gala there were still too few she trusted to display her work to...
