A delegation had been assembled of the royal family and their chosen accompanying crowd to Vasile. Itsaso was mildly curious to know what would come of this royal visit, but more so hoped it signalled the end of Vasile’s hold on Nyther Isle, allowing their House more freedom in their new home of Estersea. Not one involved in politics, she did not know what details were left to be finalized and what this change implied in the end, but so far she only projected good things. Besides, with her cousin as the High Shaman Maialen, head female of their House, Itsaso had to believe that had she seen this as a bad decision, she would not be “for” the change.
She had joined some in her family to see the group off and then wandered through the city to look for a few gifts to purchase to bring back home. Itsaso felt a certain lull now, with the major festivities “out of the way”. The tournament was now a thing of the past, the coronation of course as well. Certainly things would lively up with something soon enough, and Court itself would begin, but Itsaso was yearning for home. Nothing here appealed to her terribly much, aside from the over abundance of ladies willing to gossip about their romantic futures.
A few days had now passed, and the weather had grown grey. She wondered even if it would start to rain. The Lady had with her an umbrella, a small basket with small pieces of food and her Lady’s Maid was by her side. She had thought perhaps she could feel the passing birds and cats while she sat in the gardens that afternoon. After a spell, her maid was tasked with fetching them some refreshing beverages, for despite the look of the clouds, the temperature was still rather warm. Itsaso remained by her bench, every now and again rising to try and tempt a cat with food.

Sorry it's a weak start, I didn't know how to make them cross paths exactly.
