The exchanged note was received and accepted by the Lord of Cervo, and he returned the letter with a couple of selected times. The former meeting would be, tentatively, for a lunch affair, somewhere in the city. He recommended a place he'd been to and enjoyed, and offered noon as a time for feasting. He didn't expect the need for confidentiality for this first meeting, though they could easily progress with the carriage from their meal to a more secluded location afterwards.
The second meeting, one for song and dance, he had deliberated with Zianna before responding. He had tentatively arranged for a after-dinner drink and dance, should he find it was appropriate to offer upon meeting the Duke, choosing to make a more personal connection. It wasn't that they would be rude in not offering a meal, but he wanted the evening to be quick and easy, light and carefree. Let them drink and the Ladies dance, not worry about drawn out conversations over meals that made you more tired than not.
It was presently the 17th, and Daario was found at the location of choice. The eatery boasted the best roasted meat in the city, and while he didn't know about best - not enough shops for comparison - Daario agreed it was rather well done. The juices were exquisitely flavoured, and the vegetables being served were never overdone. This time he came around for lunch, and likely wasn't to eat as heavily as last, but he was sure it would be enjoyable. Perhaps, if Antonin enjoyed meats just as much, a positive tone would be set for their meeting.
