Ceridwyn had a lot of time to herself, and to be perfectly honest, she didn't know what to do with all this time she had. She thought of tagging along with her father to court but lately, he's been busy and so, she hardly sees him. Everyone of House Cadag has been busy-- even her cousin, Gwynver, who has been getting around Bordelaix more than herself. Ceridwyn had to admit, she's a bit envious of her cousin, who appeared to fit in well. She's done so well here and from Ceridwyn's perspective, some people of the court adored her.
The night before, Ceridwyn spoke to her grandmother of her free time and she did not utter a word the entire time Ceridwyn was speaking. It was not 'til morning, her grandmother responded. Not with her words but a note she left with a simple dark purple book, which had been given to her by a servant. The note told her of the ever so colorful, radiant and lush royal gardens. It was suggested by her grandmother that she'd read the book there and enjoy the scenery.
After receiving the letter, Ceridwyn bathed and dressed, putting on a slender leafy green dress with gold trimmings. Her long blonde hair had been pulled back and put into a braid by a servant too. She debated if she wanted to add any hair pins or special jewelry to her lovely braid. Carefully going through her jewelry box, she decided not to and instead, left her hair be.
Ceridwyn was escorted to the gardens by a handful of guards and a servant to the gardens. In one hand, she carried the book and in the other, a pampered pup she called Adara. She planned on reading the book and at the same time, stroking the the pup's back as it slept peacefully on her lap.
