Michel had been seen around court more than usual of late. No, he was not turning into a politician, and in fact was not at court for any such nonsense. As usual, he thought politics created roadblocks -- unnecessary roadblocks -- on the path of idealic and much needed solutions. People stuck their noses in just for the sake of sticking it, and it frustrated the young businessman. His interest in court was rather simple. He had hoped to catch Her Highness at an opportune time to pick up a conversation they had started so many weeks ago.
There were of course other courtiers whom could prove helpful in trying to put forth plans of expansion for the bank, or other plans that Michel had concocted for the realm. Trade routes, for example, touched many more than just one House or even one Duchy, and it would take many heads put together to see anything come to fruition. Alas, too many heads also signified delays and drama. So, he tried to piece together who was who, at least, and perhaps try to decide if they would be of level head to do business of should he avoid said courtier when it came to real negociations?
This evening was no different than the last time he arrived. He expected to comport himself amiably, to dance if it came to dancing, to clap for the singing and dancing, to engage in conversation if it came to it. For a man who has rather simple and well-minded goals for life, he was not one to let loose and enjoy much. He couldn't decide why it was that the idea of a good evening with some drink, good mates, and fair ladies did not excite him, but accepted the fact. Thus he sat perched on some provided seating and people-watched.

If she has no reason to approach him, I'll find a reason for him to interact with her next go.
