The Marshal averted her gaze during the exchange between the two cousins allowing herself to settle into her own stoic persona. It was a private moment for the two of them meant for family, and frankly, the Marshal’s presence was intrusive. If there was a way for her to sneak out of the room to disappear Therese would have instantly however she was already at Donato’s side with the blade in hand to cut away at the armor. There was no use now in worrying about what social protocol there was now as Therese went about her work. Although the Dame was a bit surprised by Dani’s kind offer of assistance in regards to her own injury. There was a momentary glance in the Countesses direction as the young lady considered it before nodding, “As you wish Countess…thank you” There was a pause as she finished with the armor before glancing back down at her own leg frowning some.
Before Therese could say much more the physician entered the room while the Marshal took a step back. Both of the women would be in the way of the man were they to stay, so at Dani’s suggestion that they make their leave the woman nodded. “Yes, of course…” Without hesitation, the woman turned on the heel of her boot going to leave the room where Donato was now in the hands of another stranger. While on outward appearances Therese was stoic, solid as a stone statue, there was a worry in her mind regarding the other knight's condition. The wound was a deep one that would be difficult to treat, and there was no guarantee he would survive. That thought is what triggered a silent prayer to the twin gods that they would not see fit to take him right then. Afterall Therese was owed favors from this knight, and it would be unjust if he did not repay. At least that thought was what the woman told herself the worry she felt stemmed from. For now, however, her attention was turned to the young countess following the woman silently…
