Barely a few days ago, the young man had exhaled out of relief and joy upon the departure of the royal retinue from his home. Glad that he could finally return to his normal life of tranquility in his home region without any major foreigners presence stirring things up. A relief and joy that had been short-lived when barely three days later, he had discovered that his youngest sister had decided to secretly tag along with the royal retinue without permission. Now barely a week later, here he was back amongst the presence of those he had been quite happy to see leave.
Wilhelm was slowly roaming through the streets of Lockewood. He had yet to hear any word about Lord Gardiner knowing of his presence and so preferred to remain slightly distant from the castle. The young man knew quite well that he'd have to present himself to him soon enough, but he needed to settle his emotions down before entering such a discussion. There was no need for him to cause more problems in the court of his brother's good friend due to a loaded heart.
The sun was out as a light breeze made walking rather enjoyable on such an afternoon. Wilhelm wasn't exactly certain where he was heading or what he was aiming for. With each step he took, his eyes glanced at the scenery in front of him. The people walked around as they headed from one place to the next with a reason behind their movement.
The young man was still dressed in his dark riding clothes from the night earlier. A black cloak with head gear hid the fact the man was carrying a sword around his waist. The only sign of nobility on the man aside from his well-crafted sword was the small golden owl pin that kept his cloak tied around him. A traditional and evident sign of the Romanov line for those who had some knowledge of the Duchy of Vasile.
