True to his word, Tory made arrangements for Lady Gwynevere to meet his sister Carlotta. The meeting had to be done in consideration of Carlotta's schedule and duties to the Crown Princess, of course, as the Deliambre siblings mutually agreed that their duties were paramount. Fortunately, Nicolette freed Carlotta from duty for a morning, allowing for the trio to gather in the gardens of Rosedale Castle. A note was sent to Gwyn, inviting her to join them at her leisure while the siblings enjoyed the morning sunshine.
He was there less as a part of the conversation to come and more as its facilitator. Tory seldom passed up an opportunity to enjoy his sister's company, though, reminded in that moment that he owed Callie a letter very soon. Thinking over what her last epistle said, he wondered if he would have time to dispatch it to Anzio, where she'd said the family was bound to meet with the Montefiores, or if he needed to save it until they were reunited in Bordelaix. A smile threatened at the thought of seeing his younger sisters once more; it would be good to see both Callie and Luci once more.
How long had it been? Too long, if Tory was honest. Glancing over at Carlotta, he smiled. At first glance, they would seldom be taken for siblings. He had dark hair; Carlotta's was honey-blonde. He had green eyes, her eyes were dark as night. She was beautiful, and he... well, Tory felt the looks in the family had gone to the women. "Thank you for doing this, Carlotta... but I think you will like Lady Gwynevere. She is young, but there is potential in her."
