The interruption at the pond had been quite unfortunate for everyone involved. There was of course some logic behind the scolding and the disbanding of the ladies fun even Gwyn would admit to that. But, while safety did have be a priority for the Princesses it wasn't fair that they couldn't enjoy some whimsical times and forget about the dangers of the world. The swim at the pond was supposed to be that break, but it had snowballed into something else which was partially Lady Gwynevere's own fault. If she hadn't been bold enough to throw the rock perhaps they could have had a discussion with the knights rather than argument regarding the whole situation. Certainly the ladies had got their vengeance, but at some point the young Lady would need to find a way to mend some bridges. Her thoughts first and foremost were her partners in crime who had been scolded far harsher than herself, and how she could make things up to them.
Taking things into consideration the girl finally came up with an idea that would hopefully appease everyone. Getting permission from Lady Lily the girl enlisted the help of Annemarie and Rosemary to set up a new event for the princesses and whomever they wished to invite. The women had transformed one of the larger rooms in Rosedale castle into a large bed chamber on one side while on the other was a large table filled with various types of pastries and deserts. Tea, and wines were carefully selected to accompany the large amounts of deserts Rosemary and Gwyn had plundered from the kitchens. If they couldn't go out to have an adventure then the girls would certainly be able to stay in, and up all night if they decided to.
Invites were hand delivered to each the Princesses by servants of the Gardener House. Each of the envelopes were attached by two pink ribbons that were connected to two slender glass bottles as gifts to each of the ladies. One bottle was labeled as a Lilac perfume, and the other was labeled bath oil of the same scent. The gifts had been something Gwynevere had crafted in the stillroom when Lady Annemarie first opened up the stillroom to her. And while the initial intention was for herself she saw the gifts (of which she had given Annemarie, Lily, and Rosemary their own bottles) as far better use.
Hovering over the tables of treats the girl was adjusting the bouquet of flowers in the center of the table as she studied the table set up with a critical eye. Everything had to be perfect if they were to make a good impression, "I hope they are able to come."
