She had escaped out of her room in the early hours of the day. Well, she was used to it by now. She had locked her door, and sneaked out with a makeshift rope that she made from her bed-sheets. She wasn't hungry, and figured that it would be a while before anyone noticed that she was gone. She had decided that she needed to brush up on her running. Not every place could be reached by foot, and it was always an interesting. Her father's mentor had taught her to relish the outdoors, and had a habit of going outside whenever she could.
She took a leather satchel that she had decided to use. Today, she was going to gather so berries from the forest. It would be something to show her father. Her father was bed-ridden, so he couldn't go outside anymore. But if she brought him something from the outside, maybe he would smile a bit.
Her feet felt the hard forest floor, the rocky ground. She put shoes over her feet, thinking it was about time for shoes. She had gone out in a woven shirt and shorts of sorts. Something that allowed her to gather many things at once. She began to look for something that her father would like. Leaves, berries, herbs...perhaps a bit of each. She knew exactly which ones were dangerous and which ones were safe.
Before she knew it, time had gone by, and the sun was high in the day. I should go back home. No doubt me being missed at breakfast probably sent others into an alarm. I will have to apologize to Niccolo... She began to run back to her castle, avoiding any guards her brother or family may have sent out. Over one tree, behind a rock, sneaking around...She made it to her sheet rope, which was still hanging outside of her window. Using her dagger to help her stay stable, she climbed back up the castle walls and into her bedroom window. She then hide the dagger back under her clothes, looking around to see if anyone had invaded her room.
