There was much floating through the mind of Angelia Sandoval, not the least of which was securing the futures of each sibling, regardless of who they were. If she could accomplish that, then she would be happy and ask little else of life, yet she was not a god to make it happen. Still, she welcomed the chance to spend greater time with Sebastian; Angelia wanted nothing more than to be needed or wanted, especially by her family, despairing to be a burden on them.
Her eyes twinkled amusedly, well aware they could contrive quite comfortably. They had enough of their own pursuits and respect for each other's space that rarely would either get on the other's nerves. More, they cared enough for the other to be sure that sufficient care was taken to maintain health. "We all do, Sebastian. I am no angel, after all." They'd had their fight, but to her, that was done and in the past. Angelia was not one to hold a grudge, especially as they'd come out of it closer and stronger than ever. That alone made the conflict worthwhile to her.
"Is there an evening more convenient for you that you'd suggest? I was thinking in the gardens for a picnic, or arranging a private parlor in the inn." She paused, aware that the numbers were odd for a meal, opting to inquire delicately, "Is he... married? Or involved with someone special? Then it could be four and should you two engage in a discussion, I would have another lady to talk with." It was simply appropriate socially, she knew, and the chance to network was never amiss in her mind.
Amused, Angelia smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. Sebastian, even when he poked at sensitive places, was always so comfortable for her. "I'm not that fragile, Sebastian. What you said needed to be heard, and we are no worse for it. I appreciate your honesty." She paused, shifting to look up at him. "You do not treat me as though I'm an invalid, and I'm grateful for it. We made a promise once always to be honest. And we've never broken it." She met his eyes, the blue open to his searching if he wished.
