Trista was on her way home from the range. She'd been walking by herself a while now and should've probably left sooner then she had. She'd met the sweetest boy though, and he'd wanted to learn Archery. All the shops were closed as she silently walked towards home. A large man had come out of one of the pubs and seemed to be tailing her. Great, she really didn't hope that she'd have to hurt him. She just wanted to go home.
She stealthily scanned the streets as she passed looking for some kind of law enforcement, of course there was none to be found. So she walked just a bit faster, and turned on to a new street hoping to lose him. No dice. "Alright, you are armed. You can do this just fine, just get to a place that isn't too out of the way." Trista kept a small dagger in her belt and another in her boot just in case she might need to protect herself but she was hoping it wouldn't come to that.
She turned another corner, coming to a dead end. Damn it! she cursed to herself, she'd really stepped in it this time. The man came into the ally cutting off her only path of escape. "Can you help me, Sir? I seem to have gotten myself turned about." she said hoping that if she could keep him talking for long enough some one might come and she could flee.
"No, I think your jus' where yer supposta be." The lumbering ox said, coming farther up the alley toward her. The man was huge, and he had a knife. But he was far enough away that if he didn't charge her she could hit him in the knee and get out.
She looked around not moving her head for a distraction, the blackguard had is sights set on her neckline anyway. She kicked a pebble discreetly across the ally, the movement catching his attention. "huh?" he uttered stupidly, in that moment she drew her bow and an arrow from her quiver not hesitating.
"Now, Just let me go and I won't have to use this." she said trying to reason with the idiot. Like that would work, he got angry and charged. Oh, Drat. was all she could think to herself.
