It was several days after the meeting with Horatio Capitani that a letter would arrive at his home. It was written in a beautiful, spiralled calligraphy, and the casing bore a copper seal of the Orisini orchid.
Inside were the following words, taken under advisement from her Uncle and mentor.
The ribbon within the folds of the parchment was a startling apple-green with a soft lavender trim. Amongst the threads were slender weaves of gold that gave the ribbon such glow when it caught the light. It was a long, slender piece, which would easy wrap around a hilt or armoured arm. It was not a sign of forbidden love, it was not even a question of asking for his devotion towards her. She was not forwards enough, or brave enough for such thing and truthfully she did not give thought to her own courtship or marriage in anyway. No, the ribbon was being offered as a sign of forgiveness and friendship and she hoped he received it in such way.

Lord Horatio,
Please find enclosed in this paper my sincerest apologies. The meeting, held between us, was a mostly pleasant one and I am terribly grateful for the hour in which you leant me your companionship. Unfortunately, I acted in a fashion most theatrical, and subsequently I feel embarrassed by the manner in which that meeting came onto its close.
I look forwards to an occasion wherein we may be friends.
In light of wishing to set us on this track, please find within the bows of this letter a ribbon. I pray that you take this favour as a token of my appreciation, for your kindness and for the gentlemanly way in which you navigated my appallingly offensive behaviour. I would be honoured to find you wearing it in tourney, but understand you may already have a token from a lady who holds your devotion and will be milder mannered if it does not find its way to bringing you luck.
Sincerely and in regards,
Lady Lia Orsini,
Countess of Bondesano
