Emile was heading out for the day, possibly up to a few. There was to be a hunt, and as he'd seen it coming, Emile would be putting in an appearance for his family. Stephane had made some comment about being set up to be trampled, which had since given Emile many ideas, but hadn't been the idea behind the event.
As it turned out, the Prince was good in the wilderness, familiar with especially the climate in Faucheux. He was able to identify poisonous leaves and berries, was decent at making traps, reading animal tracks, and able to deal with the most basics of medicine for small injuries. It made sense for him to be the one to go, and it gave him a respite from all the things going on inside the city proper.
Distantly, Emile couldn't help but wonder if Stephane had mentioned trampling as a mind trick, when he himself was walking into that same trap. But Emile was no coward and wasn't going to baulk at this outing out of paranoid fear, and especially as it would give his brother too much of a laugh.
His pace was somewhat swift as he headed towards the horses that had been gathered for the men in the hunting party. He had his things already readied by a servant, waiting for him at the stables. Coming out of the castle, he crossed paths with few people as Court was not in session, nor about to be - it wasn't the right hour. Still, no crook or cranny of the city was ever empty of presence these days.
He recognized a woman, walking along with another, heading in the general direction of the castle. Emile found a small smirk as he recognized the Lady Clara Delamara for one. "Good day, ladies," he said in passing, though more directed to Clara. His eyes had rested for a bit on the dark haired woman, observing how she was dressed, and passing a certain look of hidden promise to her that meant to keep her guessing. Emile's gaze passed to the red-haired woman, and he had the feeling he knew her somehow, had perhaps met her before, but had no time to stay and chat to figure it out, nor did it matter.
With a nod, he was off again, lest he keep anyone waiting. It wouldn't do to be the last man to arrive.
