Isobel was even more so warmed by Clara's confidence that they would keep in touch, be friendly with one another, for many moons beyond this detante in the capital. "Or at the least as a refuge, escaping from the tedium?" She volunteered, with a small chuckle, as they discussed their friendship. "I know the men had much planned in the next while, and none of it required me."
She nodded briefly, though realizing that Clara did not seem to be so much in the loop of the whereabouts of her sisters she did not try to ask why. "Yes, they and a few other ladies in fact had been heading towards the shop as I happened to be there, and I took liberties to invite myself to join them," she grinned a bit, remembering that time, a better time than now. "Certainly, the selection of tea was great and I will need many more visits to find a favourite and perhaps to purchase some for home."
Again, Isobel nodded, this time at Clara's correct guess of the religion she discussed. Her eyebrows rose to Clara's admittance to a lack of faith, but she evened her expression and quickly spoke to make certain her look was not mistaken for judgement but rather curiosity and surprise. "Is that so? Is this the custom in Lavigne? Or is it simply your preference?" This had her quite curious. Isobel had rather dived into her religion, not long after the assault at the Prince's hands.

Wow, I'm embarrassed at how long my reply has been due. I'm sorry
