Meetings, and more meetings...it was all the young Countess seemed to be doing these days, but it seemed such was the young woman's position as of now. Between discussions with her family, or with other nobles the nineteen yea old was keeping a very busy schedule which also did not include the fact she was also training for the tournament. Yet, one very important member of the family she had yet to speak with regarding their future was her cousin Deina. Out of all the women in the Fontaine house Deina was the one who was most suited for the world of court even more than her charming brother Matthew. Additionally out of all of them Deina was the one she was certain would catch the eye of many of the noble men from fine families, and could bring them a solid marriage arrangement. As much as Tamara disagreed with the archaic way nobility arranged their matches for now it was something the woman could not change. Hell, she had yet to meet her own future husband that her father had decided on, so the woman understood how just how unfair expectations were...
All the more reason to speak to her cousin candidly regarding her desires in her own future, and Tamara's own thoughts regarding it. Thus after the family meal that evening the woman pulled her cousin aside asking her if she could come to her study for a night cap of sorts. Wine was an ever growing weakness for the Countess and more so considering all the meetings she was having lately revolved around tea.
Waiting for Deina the young woman had already opened up a bottle and poured herself a glass of a fine white wine. She was standing in front of the window, her blue eyes gazing out into the courtyard considering exactly what all she wished to discuss that evening...
