A missive had come to Altofing by way of bird, some days prior. It had been addressed of course to her husband, but such division of labour had long ago been broken down by Bianca. She had refused to be pushed out, early on, but more so now that sickness had begun to plague her husband’s mind. Lewis of course held the title proper, but as Countess, there was no little amount of influence afforded her, and those of the Reinhart family knew this well. Regardless of her self-assigned importance, a reply from her dear husband’s hand would have to be given. The discussion of its contents were brief: they had been summoned to Vanderhall to meet with the Royal Princess Mariette Deveraux to discuss the matters of murder of her family, and Bianca née Romanov would be hard pressed to miss the opportunity to be involved.
They had packed with consideration of a somewhat short trip, not expecting to have to remain in the capital overly long. They would leave in place her brother-in-law as acting Head of House in their absence, a role he often played for them. This afforded him quite a bit of haughtiness, something her husband didn’t seem to mind while Bianca mistrusted the sentiment, but it couldn’t be helped. Soon they were off, travelling with a few servants, a couple of family members, and a considerable guard, not keen on setting themselves up to the same trap that had found the others of her bloodline. The road was familiar and the travel short to the woman, and soon she saw rise in the distance that of Vanderhall.
Truly it was a formidable place, but since the series of deaths, Bianca hadn’t stepped foot in its halls. She wondered if any more of her family would turn up for this, and if all the summoned Vassals would be in attendance - at least she assumed they had all been invited. The place would be empty, she presumed, or at least in no way occupied as it once was. This thought gave her pause, and much to reflect upon, but straightening her spine and lifting her chin, the Lady moved along as though nothing in the world could bother her. Well, besides that certain air of anger in her eyes and tone when she discussed the matter at hand.

Mariette Deveraux
Only tagged her, but please do add whomever she would have with her! If you know of anyone interested in playing Lewis I will confer with them on the topic of what he does in the threads he must be in for now!
I also left it open as to whether or not Mariette and party were there before, or after, the Reinhart’s arrival. Tentatively tagged the 17th.
