Rosalinda drew herself up, held herself together, ready to face the proverbial music. This moment was planned to come from the moment she had left Bordelaix. Her manner of departure and arrival were unexpected but most pleasant. Having parted ways with her travel companions only lately, a brief thought went to whether their own welcome was had with the Princess. Had they pissed her off, or had she been scornful as the Prince had worried about, she could only be set to receive what lash was left over. Rosalinda might be willing to take some verbal scorn, but there was a limit to what she would stand - or kneel - for.
Surely by now her presence would be revealed, so her arrival into the castle proper was only a matter of corralling the correct audience to formally receive her. Having the forethought to secure a place of residence, and a letter covertly sent to confirm such arrival, she felt comfortable with the one man-at-arms joining her. Vanderhall was beautiful. Even with the certainly of death staining its halls, the place still had a regal air to it. For her part, she was sorry for the massacres taking place among the Romanovs, but she knew full well that the war for the Crown itself could be just as bloody.
When she was finally granted a room to have the Princess’s ear, she made quick movement towards the large doors, and into the room proper. She hoped her stride would convey cool confidence, a certainty that she belonged here, so as to make her case more solid. She did not want to allow room to be refuted, and would take it as a personal insult if the blonde managed it.

Tag whomever else you feel would be here, if anyone! If the date doesn’t work, I’m sure that can be adjusted a couple of days in either direction.
