Michel was not a solo artist, was not a man intent on carving his own path. While he had plans and ambitions that he felt were his own, or duties he placed upon his own shoulders, he never strayed too far from what his brother, Remy, wished. He supposed he would listen should Gabriel also seek to instruct him, but that relationship was not a tested one, to date. Gabriel, he suspected, had much of his own things to do, and seemed to dance to his own beat. Same was something he felt to be true of his sisters, both in their own ways. Adele had high ambitions and spared little time for those not directly useful to her. Helena was busy holding up affairs for House Sforza, and was largely out of touch with Michel, at least.
Now in the capital, the opportunity was large for the Blackthorne family, to make connections and further their various enterprises. As he felt he was in these things an extension of the Count, it was only proper he regularly touched base with Remy to be certain things were on track, and receive any new instructions or advice. Though they crossed paths often enough, both residing in the same home, sometimes sharing meals, sometimes even a drink, those were not necessarily instances where they focused on business. Michel hoped to do just that, and while he could have written a letter or passed a message of his intention, he tried his hand instead to find him gallivanting about.
With some luck, shortly after the hour of lunching, he heard the buzz of movement and the hurrying of servants which indicated someone had come home. As it turned out to be Remy, Michel made to cross paths with the eldest brother, to inquire as to his availability. “Ah, Lord Brother, do I catch you at an inopportune time?”

I wasn't sure how casual or not the two start a conversation, so I went with an honorific but I will remove it if that's out of character for him.
