She had been unable to find sleep, Gwyn’s mind was still running, planning, and keeping her awake. After about an hour or so of laying there restless in her bed the girl decided, perhaps against her better judgement, she might as well get up. Combing her hair the girl slipped on a simple white gown over her camisole before putting on her robe for warmth. Perhaps going for a walk might ease her mind to sleep, but the question remained of where she would go?
Quietly wandering the halls the teenagers thoughts had ventured back to home, of her twin, and her brother Tristan. How her and her siblings used to sneak into the library late in the evening finding the most terrifying of stories to read aloud to one another. The thought brought a wistful smile to the lips of the seventeen year old as her feet brought her to the door of the library of the former Romanov family. Gwynevere had yet to spend much time in leisure, so perhaps a night of late reading would be just what she needed? Gently the girl reached forward going to twist open the knob on the door to the library opening the door towards her before going to step inside the expansive room.
The tiny, orange flame from the flickering candle did not have the ability to fully illuminate the room she stood, but for as dark as it was Gwynevere found it oddly to her liking. It was for a moment she was in her own little world with only the books for solace although perhaps it would prove wiser to find one of her liking to take back with her to bed. Letting the door close behind her a hint of an impish smile crossed her lips as blue eyes peered down the wall lined with bookshelves curiously reading over the titles to see which would suit her fancy for this evening...
