Character Name:Frederick Sinclair
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Birthdate: April 21st
City / Region: Ashworth, Shelbourne
House [ Birth, Marriage if applicable ]: Sinclair
Played by: Robbie Amell
Appearance:
Freddy is average pretty much. He isn’t one to stick out by looking other than ordinary. He has a couple of scars from just being a lad. He isn’t very large in stature.
Personality:
Freddy is the loyal sort. He would do what he needs to ensuring his family is safe and prosperous. He isn’t a man who longs for a sword though leaving that kind of thing to the other males in the family. He tried to train, but found it boring and not something that he could actually do proper.
Being a younger son he hasn’t worried about what could be brought to his family. Freddy pursues his interests without thinking twice. If he liked a lady he showed interest. If he wanted to try a new hobby he did. If he wanted to travel to new places he put up a good argument on why he should broaden his horizons being allowed to travel, although he never was much interested in the world.
Archery seemed a good sport. While he was travelling in his teenage years he found he grew to like such a thing. He practiced to be among the best known. He finds it a good way to show his muscle without having to actually fight.
While travelling around he also found his love of horses. He saw the races and wanted to have the fastest possible. He knew that would take some work. He went to see about what it took to become a breeder. It was another interest, but this one didn’t die out for him. He found it exhilarating when it came to the possibilities of horses.
Specific Skills or Abilities:
Archery
Horses
Leather working
Invisibility
Character History:
Born as one of the younger sons, his father was elated at having another son around. His mother was proud to produce another boy for the family. Frederick was one to learn things quickly taking in the world as if it was his. He learned to walk quickly and then run. He was happy most when he was out causing whatever mischief his little hands could get on.
When he was a proper age to train he was taken into the arena. He ran from it though hating everything to do with fighting. He was more a boy who would explore his surroundings than actually fight. Instead of the arena he found himself often in the library or watching the men make leather.
Instead of fighting he learned how to work the leather. He enjoyed that much more than being in the arena. Since he wasn’t the eldest son he was allowed to forge his own path. He enjoyed this much more and found it was useful. He made sure his father got a very nice set of boots to show his gratitude. His father wore them realizing just how good this boy could be to the family.
His siblings were there around and all. He would make sure they didn't need him before heading off to do what he pleased. Freddy wasn't one to hang around his siblings if he could be out doing something. He never really became close with any of them.
At the age of fourteen, Freddy realized he wanted to see other places. He wasn’t one to sit still as it was. He made a good argument about seeing the world and learning of places that they hadn’t been to. His father let him go explore the world thinking it would do his son good.
While he was about travelling he found many things new to him. He learned he liked horses and archery. He stayed out in the world several years seeing whatever fancied him. He spent his father’s coin without second thought. Some of the things he bought though he thought were a good prize. He had a boat that was good along with a few horses he would bring home.
While he was out he learned to be more invisible as well. He could walk the markets without anyone thinking twice about him. He liked knowing he could be about and about causing trouble if he wanted without really being seen. He found ways to make sure he didn't stand out even if he was a young lord.
Hearing of his cousin’s accident, Freddy returned home. He wanted to see what he could do for her along with the family. He found himself more in their way as she began to heal. He learned more about horses hoping to find the right one for her now that hers was gone. He remembered the one he brought with him, and offered that to her for a gift.
Her brother came to him with an idea for a special saddle. Working together with him they made it so that their Lizzie could ride again. It took some time, but eventually they got it just right.
Not wanting her to be alone he would often go with her if she decided to ride. He liked being her company. He told her of his idea of breeding racing horses thinking that would be worthwhile.
After several years, Freddy has bred some good stock of horses. He not only breeds them though he trains them to be the fastest around. It has been an obsession of his for awhile now. He can’t shake it either.
Writing Sample:
Food, wine, and women. Could there be a better place for a young man? He didn’t think so. Freddy was enjoying his time among the world. He had his horses and would soon seek a good place to breed them. He felt like he could do anything at all. He was a man who would shape the world if he could help it. Not that he cared to do so. His passions didn’t run like that.
He had sat down having a letter brought to him. He opened it and read the contents twice. He hated what he was reading. Placing coins on the table he left the place he was at immediately and went for his sea vessel wanting to return home immediately. He made arrangements quickly to have everything brought aboard. He would see his home sooner than he thought. He felt this was for the best though.
