He liked that she smiled. One thing someone couldn't do too often in his mind was smile. He had tried to do it often enough, which wasn't always easy to do. He knew there were times and places he couldn't bring himself to smile if he had wanted to. He heard what she said and nodded not sure what to say to that. Dreaming was always a hazard in his mind. One could drift off too far and fast.
He was inspired by the masque, but not so much that he wouldn't have dared to do such a thing again if she hadn't a mask on. The mask just was for fun in his mind. He knew it was needed for the party, but would have preferred a time without them. It would have helped him see just how pretty she was. As for now he could guess based on what he was seeing.
Rik hadn't really had anything much to drink. Not enough to empower him to do anything. He acted like that because it felt right. He heard her words about the kiss and smiled. It was something to think on, "yes, dear lady. I wouldn't dare assume you would want a kiss from me. Might have you eyes out for a feller that actually looks good. Besides wouldn't want some male in your family to beat me up."
He noted her hands going to her cheeks and he grabbed them holding them as he pulled them away from her face. He sighed, "a pretty lady shouldn't hide such beauty. Your blush just makes you more beautiful."
"I might be biased on that considering its my home. I agree though it is gorgeous at sunset just sitting there enjoying the view. I would like to show that to you too. There is nothing like it from the shoreline or any place from my home. The shore makes it better though with the water," he said not sure what exactly she was thinking about. He liked she wanted to see this though. He could make that happen.
