It was his first time doing this, and Daario did not have the first clue on how to proceed. He truly hoped that Euria would not prove to be terribly disappointed or upset with him. He was loathe to see her leaving him so soon after having found her again, but perhaps it was best that she receive this betrothal sooner than later, lest she get used to her home and be ripped from it again. There wasn't likely a best way to proceed, he gathered, and brooded on it until he finally chose to simply sit her down and tell her. Had Zianna been more trustworthy these days, he would have conferred with her, but he had his reservations, especially on the topic of marriage.
A servant was dispatched to Euria's chambers where he thought she was found. If not, the instructions were to find her and request she return to him lest she be doing something of import. He had a glass of wine poored for her, and himself took a scotch to drink. He was glancing through some papers, his drink already having been refilled once, when her arrival was declared. He nodded to instructred for his cousin to be admitted before folding the pages and standing.
"Ah, good you came. Shut the door," he instructed to the servant behind her, this from his line of sight and tone of voice, before settling his focus on her again. He took a few steps forward before speaking again, meanwhile the lone servant exited the room with the door audibly closing behind him. "I have something to discuss with you. Do you drink wine? I've had the liberty to have one glass served for you, but if you prefer something else to drink?" Because, so far as he knew, drinks were the way to break news.
