Dylan wasn't sure he was liking his time in Bordelaix. He had come seeking his family, but he had yet to meet any of them really. He was nervous about what they would say. He was a bastard son after all. Would they disown him. He hoped not. Honestly he wasn't sure what to make of it himself. It meant he didn't truly belong.
He sighed and was just walking around letting his feet take him where ever at this point. He knew of one place to stay out of. He didn't want to see the burly mountain of a man again. Not if he could help it. Last thing he needed was to have the snot beat out of him again. Nope he learned that time. He would stay away from that tavern. It just wasn't for him.
He knew what he needed to do really. He should go to their home and see what they thought of him. He was more nervous and afraid of that though than anything else. They could kick him out, and then what? He sighed knowing he had to face this. He went in search of their home.
He hoped they had dinner already and he wouldn't be interrupting anything. Unexpected guests were not something one wanted to be, but he thought he had little choice. His next days work started early in the morning.
He almost turned back, but instead made it. Once there he knocked on the door. He told the doorman just what he wanted really. He wanted to speak to those of House Delamara. Nothing like a surprise like himself he thought. He had made sure to take great care with how he looked although still a little shabby. He didn't have many coins to him name right now.
The doorman had him enter and have a seat. He then went to see which family members were about. He announced to them all who were entertaining themselves in the library at the time. He knew the House Lord would be there. He wasn't sure which lady was though.
