What to write? What to write? Her mind ran along on its own as she thought about what to write. Her aim was to invite members of the House Sandoval, and perhaps even a Deliambre to a small luncheon. A small even where she could get the lay of the land an understand who she was up against. Now as she sat within her room at a local inn, behind her sat the guard for the evening. Two heavily armed men ready to die in case someone attempted to storm her rooms. A maid was folding her clothes for the evening as she looked over the piece of parchment before her. A scribe was ready to copy the note after she wrote the initial one, and then her seal was ready with wax once complete.
Elisabeta always wrote her own messages. There was no reason for her to not to. She penned the message quietly while giving a few orders to her guards about where they were to meet.
She set aside the letter as the scribe then copied it a few more times. Then the seal was set with her personal mark, and each carefully given to the quick couriers camped outside her door. That day she was wearing her three ribbons in her hair marking the three colors of the Houses Montefiore, along with a fine red dress.
"Prepare the tea to steep, and get some chairs. This room is a bit tight but we can fit the three ladies in the dining room of the inn. She sat up and walked down the stairs as she sat down at a small table. Now only to wait. Wait to see if Elena would receive the message and then her cousins, and sister.
"It begins."

Dear Ladies of House Sandoval,
I, Lady Elisabeta Montefiore, would joyfully wish to invite you to a small meeting for tea, and some appetizers. This is my first time far outside of my homeland, and thought it would be good to know my new sister-in-law's family more closely. I hope you would be all able to attend. For those who are not for tea, I shall have some red wine from Duefemi's vineyards to drink.
Thank you for your fine consideration.
Respectively,
The Lady Elisabeta of House Montefiore
