It was that time of year again as people massed to Gilboa to celebrate, but also surely to discuss matters of import to the region of Estersea. Itsaso knew that many of the nobles would come to represent their family, their region and interests, but she hoped many had also come simply to enjoy the festivities. Itsaso had accompanied her father, Luken. She knew quite a few faces from throughout the years, and hoped to catch up with them. Also, she'd heard of a few births recently, and would like to give her congratulations.
Itsaso had always like the Ibarra family, at least at a distance, and Gilboa as a place. So far as she was aware, they didn't pressure Nyther Isle to cease their religious ways, Itsaso's favoured Shamanism, for the sake of the Faucheux region's religion. She appreciated that, as she knew when the Sandovals had the Crown things had been different. However were they maintaining the best for the watermen, really? She wasn't the best judge of that. She'd never gotten involved enough to know.
Currently, the assembly had just broken out for a meal. Hearty stew, a local favourite, was on the menu, where Itsaso and her father had gone. They had chosen one of a few seating areas, one that wasn't quite as fancy as the others, but one to which locals were invited to sit and eat.

I didn't know who you wanted to tag this with Jenna, so I tagged your OOC account. Wasn't sure if they would be eating within the Ibarra family's castle, or outdoors/at local taverns so I tried to keep it vague. And, Bear, I didn't know how to tag your character, his birth name or Simon! Finally I left the thread tagged as OPEN too, in case anyone else from the region wants to join if that's alright!
